The Petfood industry is proud of its history and contributions made by
its members. PFIAA sponsors two industry awards which are from 2014
confirmed on alternate years. Some details of the background for each
award is described below:
Wayne Purvis Award
The Award was instituted in 2007 and named after Wayne Purvis a long
standing industry supporter and pet food personality from Nestle
Purina. This award is made by the Pet Food Industry Association to
provide recognition to individuals who have contributed significantly to
the Industry and from 2014 awarded bi-annually.
Phil Jackson Award
Phil Jackson was been a long standing representative of Nestle Purina of
PFIAA and for many years a member of its Executive & Technical
Committees, including a lengthy period as its President. This award
recognises Phil's industry contribution and is awarded bi-annually in
recognition of industry technical support and endeavours.
