The PFIAA Code of Practice is designed to promote those objectives within the industry, with the aim of protecting the interests of consumers and the public, and to enhance goodwill towards the industry. This is achieved through recommendations to members on the usage of raw materials, methods of manufacture and marketing practice. From its inception the Pet Food Industry Association of Australia, Code of Practice has been based upon best practice and the adoption of the responsible corporate standards relating to labelling, marketing and nutritional design and claims. |
